(decended in patriline from Ynry of Gwent back to Macsen Wledig "Maximus, Emporer"). line of Probert family, son was Thomas Probert, b. abt 1509. Pantglasse, Trellech, Monmouthshire, who married Jane Herbert dau of Wm, Earl of Pembroke. whose granson Walter Probert mar Dorothy Baynham (ap Eynon) dau of Sir Christopher Baynham (ap Eynion) of Clearwell.
