paternal lineage placement is:

  R-M269 > ... > R-P312 > R-L21

The sample is ruled out from the CTS4528 branch (sibling of P312 under L151),

the U106 branch (also a sibling of P312 under L151), the U152 branch (a sibling

of L21 under P312), and the M222 / "Irish Type III" branch (a downstream line

under L21 via DF13).

Further resolution below L21 (e.g. confirming or excluding DF13, DF21, Z253,

Z255, or other L21 sub-branches) is not possible from this raw data file, as

the relevant marker positions are either absent from the chip or returned a

no-call. A dedicated Y-DNA sequencing test (e.g. Big Y-700) would be required

to resolve the lineage further.

  DNA Marker Index, an independent third-party reference source, not assumed.

- Two independent sources were cross-checked for the P312 rsID/position (a

  peer-reviewed paper and lab-reported test data) before concluding it is absent

- This is a best-effort analysis performed by checking individual named SNPs one

  at a time; it is not a substitute for a full haplotree placement from a

  dedicated Y-DNA analysis tool (e.g. YFull, Nevgen, FTDNA Discover).
